My friend Katie and I went to California this weekend for the OC swap meet. It was so much fun. It was an all day activity. We walked around and around looking at all the shops and found some pretty good deals. Then we went on an auto ferry. I have never been on one before and it was a little weird feeling the car rock back and forth with the waves. Next we went to an art festival and saw a glass blower make a fish. Very cool. Then we went to the beach and later that night went to the mall. Yes, I know what your thinking. Was that really all in one day? Yes, yes it was. We had so much fun and will definitely have to do it again.
We made our traditional gingerbread houses. Parker had a blast doing it this year. Every time we handed him a piece of candy he would try to put it in his mouth and we would have to stop him and show him he could put it on the house. Every time. It was like he wanted to lick every piece before putting it on.

looks like you had a blast! I am still bummed we missed girls weekend this year. Definitely next year. And I am still so impressed that you actually make gingerbread houses wach year. We're doing graham cracker masterpieces Tuesday!
your gingerbread house looks so awesome! We made one too with my family, but it didnt looked THAT cool! ..and I was like Parker...eating all the candy instead of putting it on :)
