We got to go and visit Steve's family for Thanksgiving. Parker loves seeing his cousins and being able to play with them. We are lucky that they live close enough so we can see them often.
We went and got a Christmas tree last night and got to decorate it for family night. We made gingerbread cookies and hung them low on the tree because Parker likes to take them off and eat them. We also got to put up all of the Christmas decorations.

a real tree? I am semi-jealous! We were at home depot the other day, and I smelled a real tree and all these memories of when we were kids came flooding back- it was awesome. But a couple of years ago my MIL got a real tree and while it smelled wonderful, it was not very pretty and it kept falling over- funny yes, but it sucked to clean up! We put our FAKE tree up last night, I'll blog about it soon.
